Law No. 21,746, published on May 24, 2025, amends Law No. 20,585 concerning the issuance and use of medical leave certificates. The purpose of this new regulation is to strengthen the authority of regulatory and supervisory bodies, and to establish specific administrative and criminal sanctions within the scope of the Ministry of Health’s jurisdiction.
