About

Manuel has focused his practice on industrial property law, unfair competition, copyright and data protection. He has handled litigation in industrial property rights infringement and unfair competition.

He has also advised pharmaceutical and technology companies in the creation of joint ventures, licensing agreements and preventive review of possible advertising infringements. Finally, he has participated as a legal advisor in trademark, copyright and unfair competition litigation, among others.

He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).

Author of the book "La presentación comercial en el derecho de la competencia desleal: evolución en el derecho comparado y su protección en Chile" (Thomson Reuters, 2014) and of multiple articles in scientific journals both in Chile and abroad.
